It could be so much better than that with improved customer service and maintenance. I understand that there can be issues in three star hotels but this really was poor. I sent four emails with photos and discussion and received no reply. I don’t like to write bad reviews until I have tried to resolve it with the manager. I asked to speak to the manager and they were not available. I said I thought it was two nights room cost and was told not. On check out the refund wasn’t forthcoming and then was two nights resort fee. Eventually someone came up and hoovered the water and said it was the rain through the window!! So poor glazing caused the problem. They offered two nights back in response and I thought this was fair as the shopping was £300. I asked about the shopping could they launder it and they said no but we could pay for it. At this stage we had two days later and didn’t want to. I went down to the desk and again they said to move. I called for help and they said someone would be up. The shopping bags were on the floor and were ruined by water. On the 11th day we came back and where met by a flood in the room. The pool was ok but after the hurricane the area was muddy and needed cleaning. This was difficult as we had unpacked but we carted our stuff to a close room so it wasn’t to bad. The maintenance came up quickly and said we had to move. After a day the smell in the bathroom and sink for worse and I reported it. I thought it just needed some air con on. At no time at booking was this mentioned, I would understand it if the facilities were worth it but they are not. We arrived and had a fairly easy check in until we were told about the resort fee and deposit.
